Adolescence is a significant period in our lives. We leave childhood behind and are called upon to adapt to a new, developing body. Our relationships with our peers and with our parents are reshaped. Our sexuality and sexual identity are major concerns, alongside issues of education, career orientation, and thoughts about the future.
Adolescence is often experienced as a lonely period, and it is certainly a phase of our lives when we turn inward, trying to look ourselves in the eye and get to know ourselves anew.
Adolescent counseling is here to support the teenager on this journey, to provide a space for their voice to be heard, and to make sense of what is happening to them.
